The Population Geography Research Group (PGRG) provides a forum for population geographers to present and discuss the latest findings of research in the sub-discipline through its conference and publication activities, to debate relevant theoretical, philosophical and methodological issues, and to consider policy dimensions, both in the UK and internationally.

 Migration Statistics: Interim Report

 A meeting to discuss the interim findings of a review by the UK  Statistics Authority on improvements to migration statistics will be  held at the Royal Statistical Society, 12 Errol Street, London, EC1Y 8LX  on 22nd April 2009, 2pm-4pm (coffee and registration from 1.30pm).

 Please email: authority.enquiries@statistics.gsi.gov.uk  to reserve your  place – attendance is free but places are limited to 60.

 The Interim Report will be published on 2nd April on the Authority website: http://www.statisticsauthority.gov.uk/.

 There will be a question and answer session and also the opportunity for  some short (3 minute) presentations – if you would like to speak, please  indicate this when you book a place.
